Restoration
The former building including a cow parlour, bull pen and standing stalls at Fairoaks Farm, Hollybush, near Ledbury, were built in about 1825. The property and land used to belong to Eastnor castle a large country estate, 5 miles from Fairoaks. When one of the turrets fell down at the castle, they sold off this part of their estate in 1976 to pay for the repairs of the turrett. The range of buildings was built of hand-made bricks and decorative tiles as part of an architect-designed Victorian model farm. However, over the years the buildings had fallen into disuse and disrepair and faced an uncertain future.
